A BIT ABOUT ME
My Story
After 20 years in retail I launched a new career as a Certified Public Accountant in 2008. Through all of that time I've also been a freelance writer, publishing articles and essays in magazines and my local newspaper, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.
Now I am in a new chapter of my life, publishing my first book, Skunked. This book has been a labor of love and taught me a lot about writing, publishing and storytelling. The editing process has taken several years, but it's been a blast.
I am an avid reader and will be posting reviews on this site and on my page at Goodreads. I mostly consume biographies and non-fiction books because I love to gather new outlooks and ideas. I save my fiction fix for movies, tv shows, and broadway shows.
I continue to practice accounting during tax season, and am amazed at the complex stories I've observed coming from my clients. Thanks to all of you for letting me serve you.
SKUNKED
Coming soon
This story combines my love of retail, specifically toys, and my knowledge of accounting to weave a tale of deception and courage.
Skunked is a tale of gaslighting, teddy bears, creativity, ideas, fraud and courage. I invite you to come and visit Beartopia, where ideas come to life.
This novel, my first, showcases the toy industry, my home city of St. Louis, and the importance of facing your fears with creativity and determination. I am still in search of a publisher at this writing. For future information subscribe to this page.
